Using all natural fibers Switching to GOTS certified organic cotton gauze for our bandanas Working with woman, queer and BIPOC owned suppliers, locally whenever possible Using food waste materials and plant dyes Conserving water and electricity in the studio and dyeing process No wasted fabric in sewing - being creative with fabric waste and strategic in cutting and product development to avoid wastage

Using recycled paper and poly mailers that can be reused and recycled Using paper and cellulose based tape and stickers Our postcards and tissue paper used in shipping are recyclable Using fabric scrap pieces to tie up orders No packing slip added to orders unless requested Offering local pickup to reduce shipping footprint Wood spool return program Walking to the post office instead of driving to deliver packages

Using vinegar and castile soap for cleaning Manufacturing our products in-house reduces shipping impact from transporting goods Purchasing supplies second hand whenever possible (shoutout to Arts & Scraps!) Rags and towels used over paper towels whenever possible Utilizing natural light and reducing electric consumption Studio wide recycling and composting Water bottle refill station instead of plastic bottles Refilling ink on plastic pens instead of getting all new pens

Switching to cotton string for our hang tags Further reducing water use Switching to a thermal printer that doesn’t use ink for shipping labels Utilizing hemp in our collection Growing more of our own dye materials Teaching more about natural dyes and sharing via workshops
