Material

Sea Foam is a very pale blue color with green undertones. This is very special because it was dyed with the Japanese indigo I grew in my garden, Silk chiffon has a lovely drape and a translucent look. Use this styling cloth to adorn an elegant table or as a styling backdrop for photos - there are so many uses! Available in 6 yard length.

Pieces measure about 21" wide when pressed flat. Available in 3 yd or 6 yd lengths.

100% Silk Chiffon

The process

This piece is dyed using Japanese Indigo. Plant dyes create deep and complex shades that seem to subtly change with the light. Although the same recipe is used for each batch, no two pieces will be identical in color. Each step in the process of crafting this styling cloth is done intentionally by hand in our Detroit studio. The result is an organic color and lightly textured piece that adds romantic and delicate beauty to any tablescape or photo backdrop.

Shipping

We ship as plastic free and low waste as possible by using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers when necessary.

Care instructions

All styling cloths are steamed and gently folded into a bundle before sending to you. Should the styling cloths become wrinkled, feel free to use a steamer or low heat iron to gently press. Styling cloths can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. We recommend using Dr. Bronner's castile soap and hanging to dry. Should any threads come loose simply clip carefully to remove.

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable.
