The Sage Ruffle Lumbar Pillow features contrasting plant dyed pieces in our twist on a modern classic pillow style. This style is dyed using chestnut, marigold and iron dye and features an envelope back. Comes with a down alternative poly fill insert that has a cotton outer material and is made in the USA. Our pillows are hand made using naturally dyed fabrics in our Detroit studio. It looks perfect atop a bed or as a couch throw pillow.

The process

Each pillow is cut, dyed and sewn in our studio. We use the plant dyes natural indigo and chestnut to achieve these colors. Cotton pieces are dyed by hand in small batches using the waste materials from other products. Each piece has natural variations and light mottling effects that add texture and an organic feel.

Shipping

We ship as plastic free and low waste as possible by using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers when necessary.

Care instructions

All pillows are washed and steamed before sending to you. Pillow covers can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. They are machine washable but hand washing is preferable! We recommend using Dr. Bronner's Castile soap and hanging to dry.

Sustainably Crafted

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable. Rosemarine Textiles is committed to sustainable and ethical sourcing of all fabrics, dye materials and packaging. All packaging can be reused or recycled.
