Our pillows are hand made using plant dyed silk velvet in our Detroit studio. Available with or without insert!

The process

Each pillow is cut, dyed and sewn in our studio. We use the plant dye acacia wood to achieve the rust orange color. The velvet fabric is dyed by hand in small batches. Each piece has natural color variations and a light mottling effect that add texture and an organic feel.

Care instructions

Machine wash using warm water and pH neutral soap (we recommend ECOs, 7th Generation or similar) and hang to dry. Steam or iron using low heat.

Sustainably Crafted

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable.
