Mordant Paste Resist Dyeing Workshop 2-16-25

Create pattern using a paste from metal salts with natural dyes in this 2 hour workshop. We will dye using madder root and osage wood (red and yellow). You will take home two bandanas that you paint and dye as well as a worksheet with how to recreate these methods at home after the class. Feel free to bring 1 clothing item to add to the dye bath as well. This workshop takes place at Rosemarine Textiles studio in Hamtramck on Sunday February 16th 2025 from 12-2pm.
