Material

Styling cloths are lightweight and have a beautiful drape for hanging off the side of a table.

Blush is a soft romantic pink nude color, a perfect neutral for any tablescape. Silk chiffon has a lovely drape and a translucent look. Use this styling cloth to adorn an elegant table or as a styling backdrop for photos - there are so many uses! We offer both 6 yard and 3 yard lengths. 3 yards suits a sweetheart table and 6 yards is great for a farm table or longer dining table.

Pieces measure about 21" wide when pressed flat. Available in 3 yd or 6 yd lengths.

This styling cloth is made of 100% silk chiffon and plant dyed using avocado skins and pits.

The process

Plant dyes create deep and complex shades that seem to subtly change with the light. Although the same recipe is used for each batch, no two pieces will be identical in color. Each step in the process of crafting this styling cloth is done intentionally by hand in our Detroit studio. The result is an organic color and lightly textured piece that adds romantic and delicate beauty to any tablescape or photo backdrop.

Shipping

We ship as plastic free and low waste as possible by using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers when necessary.

Care instructions

All styling cloths are steamed and gently folded into a bundle before sending to you. Should the styling cloths become wrinkled, feel free to use a steamer or low heat iron to gently press. Styling cloths can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. We recommend using Dr. Bronner's castile soap and hanging to dry. Should any threads come loose simply clip carefully to remove.

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable.
