Charcoal Silk Plant Dyed Scrunchie

Material

This scrunchie is made with 100% silk and dyed using pomegranate rind and iron to create a charcoal grey color. Dyed and sewn in our Detroit studio. Wraps twice around a ponytail.

Measures 5" in diameter.

100% silk. Features a Rosemarine Textiles monogram woven label.

The process

Each scrunchie is cut, dyed and sewn in our studio. We use the plant dye pomegranate rind and iron to achieve this charcoal grey color. Scrunchies are dyed by hand in small batches.

Shipping

We ship as plastic free and low waste as possible by using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers when necessary.

Care instructions

Scrunchies can be hand washed using a pH neutral soap in tepid water. Lie flat on a towel or drying rack to dry. If it wrinkles, gently steam or hand wash and lie flat or hang dry. We recommend using Dr. Bronner's Castile soap and hanging to dry.

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable.
