Material

This beautiful ribbon in Charcoal is a medium deep grey color that's perfect for cool toned floral arrangements or gift wrapping. It's made of 100% silk and has a lovely drape. Available in both chiffon and habotai, chiffon is more matte and translucent while habotai is smoother and more lustrous. 

We ship our ribbons in plastic-free and low-waste packaging, using recycled paper padded mailers and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers. Make your floral arrangements or gift wrapping even more special with our beautiful Charcoal silk ribbon.

5 yd spool is available in 1" or 2" widths 1 yd sample is available in 1" width

Our ribbons are made using 100% silk and are hand torn, plant-dyed, and rolled onto wooden spools. All 5-yard lengths come on a wooden spool. However, 1-yard cuttings are folded but not spooled.

The process

At our Detroit studio, we craft each ribbon by hand using 100% silk that's hand torn, plant dyed, and rolled onto wooden spools. The plant dyes we use create deep and complex shades that subtly change with the light. Although the same recipe is used for each batch, no two ribbons will be identical in color. The result is an organic color and lightly textured ribbon that adds romantic and delicate beauty to any use.

Shipping

We ship our products as plastic-free and low waste as possible, using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers.

Care instructions

Our ribbons are carefully steamed and hand-rolled onto wooden spools before shipping. If your ribbon becomes wrinkled, you can use a hair straightener or a low-heat iron to gently press it. In case any threads come loose, carefully clip them to remove.

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable.
