Warm Tan Cotton Plant Dyed Bandana

Material

This is our older, discontinued cotton gauze bandana style. It's an 18" square with raw edges. Hand dyed with black walnut to achieve this light tan color. Perfect for wearing around your neck, head, or even as a cute dog accessory. Each piece has natural variations and light mottling effects that add texture and an organic feel.

The process

Each bandana is cut and dyed by hand in small batches using plant dyes in our Hamtramck studio.

Shipping

We ship as plastic free and low waste as possible by using recycled paper padded mailers, and 100% recycled, 50% consumer waste made poly mailers when necessary.

Care instructions

Machine or hand wash in warm water with a pH neutral soap like ECOS or 7th Generation and hang to dry. Carefully trim any threads that may come loose. Double gauze has a naturally rippled texture when left to air dry, but can be steamed or pressed flat using an iron on low heat.

We utilize sustainability conscious practices to limit water usage and fabric waste in our production. We work exclusively with plant dyes and natural fibers, both of which are compostable.
