Light Indigo Plant Dyed Silk Ribbon

Experience the beauty of Light Indigo, a complex blue color crafted using natural indigo. Each indigo vat produces slightly different shades, resulting in unique marbling patterns. Made of 100% silk, this ribbon features a lovely drape and is available in both chiffon (more matte & translucent) and habotai (more smooth & lustrous) finishes.

Our ribbons are carefully crafted by hand in our Detroit studio. Each ribbon is hand torn, plant dyed, and rolled onto wooden spools. These lightweight silk ribbons make a beautiful addition to floral arrangements, hair adornments, paper goods, or gift wrapping. All 5-yard lengths come on a wooden spool, while 1-yard cuttings are folded but not spooled.

Our plant dyeing process creates deep and complex shades that subtly change with the light. While the same recipe is used for each batch, no two ribbons are identical in color. The result is an organic and lightly textured ribbon that adds romantic and delicate beauty to any use.
